What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 25, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $3,762.50 for rent arrears and application costs, plus $26.30 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 15, 2020 until the Tenant vacates. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 25, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
