What happened

Landlord and Tenants entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy as of February 28, 2023. Since the Tenants did not move out by the termination date, the Landlord filed an application to obtain vacant possession. The Tenants have outstanding rent equal to five months.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2023. The Tenants must move out by this date. If they do not, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $201 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by February 26, 2023, they will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
