What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlords served a valid N4 Notice, which the Tenants did not void by paying the arrears. The Tenants were still in possession of the rental unit at the time of the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenants void the order by paying the specified amount. If not voided, Tenants must move out by May 9, 2023, and pay $8,541.78 plus $85.48 per day from March 16, 2023, until they vacate. The Landlords may file for eviction enforcement if the unit is not vacated by May 9, 2023.
