What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlord substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex and withheld or deliberately interfered with the reasonable supply of a vital service, care service, or food that the Landlord is obligated to supply under the tenancy agreement.

The ruling

The Landlord shall pay the Tenants an abatement of rent of $143.83, $379.88 for the Tenants' out-of-pocket expenses for meals, and the filing fee of $45.00, for a total of $568.71. The Landlord shall pay the full amount by August 5, 2016, and if not, the Tenants will be owed interest.
