What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 12, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated by June 12, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction after June 13, 2021. The Tenant owes the Landlord $1,069.13, which includes $1,000 in rent arrears and $69.13 in compensation for use of the unit from June 2, 2021 to the move-out date.
