What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy. The Tenant filed a motion to set aside the eviction order.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlord and Tenant is terminated effective May 31, 2021. The Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before May 31, 2021. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,887.50 representing rent arrears and rent for April and May 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by June 10, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest. If the unit is not vacated by May 31, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction.
