What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 16, 2020. The Tenants owe no money to the Landlords as the amount of the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenants exceeds the amount the Landlords are entitled to under this order. The Landlords are authorized to offset $57.53 per day for compensation for the Tenants' use of the unit starting August 6, 2020 until the Tenants move out.
