What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on November 13, 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 13, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $6,645.12 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) by February 13, 2021. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 13, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting February 14, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by February 13, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
