What happened

The landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict the tenant due to the tenant's failure to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The tenant had failed to pay rent arrears and current rent on time as required by the previous order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the tenant must move out by April 23, 2021. The tenant must pay the landlord $3,740.45, plus $40.31 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting April 13, 2021 until the tenant moves out. If the tenant does not pay the full amount by April 23, 2021, the tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
