What happened

The Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to plans to demolish the rental unit. The Tenant applied for an order determining that the Landlords harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with the Tenant, altered the locking system, substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit, and withheld or interfered with the reasonable supply of vital services.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Landlord must pay the Tenant $200 in compensation and $48 for the Tenant's filing costs. The total amount the Landlord owes is $73.
