What happened

Landlord applied for termination of tenancy and eviction due to Tenant's failure to meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant breached the order multiple times by not making required arrears payments and not paying rent in full by specified dates.

The ruling

The Board ordered the termination of the tenancy effective January 31, 2023, unless the Tenant pays $3,800.00 to the Landlord by that date. If paid, the eviction order will be voided. The Tenant owes $2,967.80 for rent arrears and compensation, less the rent deposit and interest. If the Tenant doesn't vacate by January 31, 2023, they must pay $26.30 per day until the Landlord regains possession.
