What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The application was resolved by order HOL-09223-20 issued on July 16, 2021. The Tenants requested a review of the order because they claim they did not receive the notice of hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy between the Landlords and the Tenants is terminated, as of June 1, 2021. The Tenants shall pay to the Landlords $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the Landlords the full amount owing on or before November 23, 2021, they will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
