What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The parties reached an agreement during mediation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 1, 2023. The Tenant must pay $11,000 to the Landlord by March 1, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by March 1, 2023, the Tenant must pay $49.32 per day in compensation to the Landlord. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 1, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
