What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to undue damage to the rental unit and residential complex. The Landlords also applied for an order requiring the Tenants to compensate them for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $398.95 for the cost of the damage and $186.00 for the cost of the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by July 1, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
