What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order issued on April 12, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 4, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,873.19 in rent arrears and application fees. The Tenant must also pay $62.08 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting April 24, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by May 4, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
