What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant or guests committing illegal acts involving drugs and substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of the Landlord and other tenants.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 21, 2020. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $3,473.17, which includes rent arrears, compensation for use of the unit, and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 21, 2020, interest will accrue at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
