What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's behavior substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful rights, privileges or interests of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord served a valid N5 notice, but the Tenant continued the behavior.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 21, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 21, 2023, they will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance starting February 22, 2023.
