What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite proper service of notice. The Landlord's Legal Representative provided evidence of rent arrears and attempts to contact the Tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $11,691.72 to the Landlord for rent arrears and filing fees, plus $49.81 per day from October 13, 2022, until vacating the unit. If not paid by November 6, 2022, the Tenant must move out, and the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Sheriff.
