What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlord served a valid N4 Notice, which Tenant did not void by paying arrears. Tenant was not present at the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amount. If not paid, the Tenant must move out by March 10, 2023. The Tenant owes $3,822.30 plus $15.22 per day from February 16, 2023, until move-out. Interest will be charged on unpaid balance from March 11, 2023, at 5% annually.
