What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The previous order EAL-95183-21 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by February 7, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,649.85 in rent arrears and application fees, plus $39.45 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting January 28, 2022 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 7, 2022, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
