What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The tenancy is terminated effective October 23, 2022. The Tenant is ordered to pay $5,071.54 to the Landlord, which includes compensation for use of the unit from March 1, 2022, to September 20, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $28.18 per day from September 21, 2022, until move-out.
