What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after serving a valid Notice to End Tenancy Early for Non-payment of Rent (N4 Notice), which the tenants did not void by paying the arrears.
The ruling
The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $3,275.75 according to a repayment plan, with the first payment of $660 due on April 20, 2021 and the final payment of $635.75 due on August 20, 2021. The Tenants shall also pay the March 2021 rent in full by March 31, 2021 and continue paying rent in full and on time going forward. If the Tenants fail to make any of the required payments, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants, and the balance owing shall become payable with interest.
