What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 4, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $11,310.78 (less any amounts paid after the application was filed) by December 4, 2022. If the unit is not vacated by December 4, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant will also owe daily compensation of $33.99 starting November 24, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
