What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to substantial interference with reasonable enjoyment and lawful rights of the Landlord and other tenants. The Tenant caused smoke incidents, violated no-smoking policy, allowed trespassed individuals into the complex, and left garbage in hallways.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 15, 2022. The Tenant must pay $550.64 to the Landlord for compensation and application fees. Additional compensation of $4.24 per day is due from February 5, 2022, until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not vacate by February 15, 2022, the Landlord may enforce eviction through the Court Enforcement Office.
