What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant as the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 31, 2020. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the Tenant does not vacate by October 31, 2020, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement starting November 1, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $41.10 per day for use of the unit from November 1, 2020 until the Tenant vacates.
