What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 24, 2021. As of the date of this order, the Tenant owes no money to the Landlords because the amount of the rent deposit and interest the Landlords owe on the rent deposit exceeds the arrears of rent. The Landlords are authorized to offset $73.51 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting April 14, 2021 to the date the Tenant moves out.
