What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment and/or the lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord. The Landlord claimed the Tenant refused to provide a replacement key after the Landlord served notice to enter the rental unit to repair a broken window.

The ruling

The Tenant shall provide a replacement key to the Landlord and allow the Landlord entry to repair the broken window by March 31, 2021. If the Tenant does not comply, the Landlord may apply for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
