What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants did not meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective June 22, 2021. The Tenants owe no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenants exceeds the amount the Landlord is entitled to. The Landlord is authorized to offset $45.76 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting June 12, 2021 until the Tenants move out.
