What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit prior to the hearing date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated as of August 31, 2021. The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $1,747.85 in rent arrears, less the last month's rent deposit, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by March 31, 2022, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
