What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants had vacated the rental unit, and the Landlord claimed they did not give proper 60-day notice.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlord $6,540 in rent arrears up to April 30, 2021, less the last month's rent deposit. The Tenants are also ordered to pay the $201 application fee. If the full amount is not paid by November 15, 2021, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
