Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on December 8, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 11, 2021. Tenants must pay Landlord $5,972.81, which includes rent arrears up to April 30, 2021 and costs related to the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. Tenants must also pay $57.53 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 1, 2021 until they move out.
