What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord requiring possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation, and because the Tenant, another occupant of the rental unit or someone the Tenant permitted in the residential complex has substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective December 19, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $19.73 per day for use of the unit after that date, as well as the $186 application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by December 19, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
