What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant breached a previous order to pay rent arrears. The Tenant proposed a payment plan to catch up on the arrears.
The ruling
Order CEL-02701-21 is set aside. The Landlord's application is dismissed. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $2,786.00 in arrears and costs in installments from February to June 2022. The Tenant shall also pay the full monthly rent from January to June 2022. If the Tenant fails to make any payment, the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenant.
