What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order required the Tenant to pay $200 by December 1, 2021, which the Tenant did not do.

The ruling

The previous order TEL-17373-21 is cancelled. The tenancy is terminated and the Tenant must move out by January 24, 2022. The Tenant owes no money to the Landlord as the rent deposit and interest owed to the Tenant exceeds the arrears. The Landlord can offset $48.69 per day for the Tenant's continued occupation starting January 1, 2022 until the Tenant moves out.
