What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent, substantial interference with the Landlord's reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest, wilful or negligent damage, and serious impairment of safety.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 18, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $167 for door repair costs, $3,052.86 for compensation of use of the unit from April 2 to August 25, 2021, and $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 18, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction.
