What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant causing undue damage to the premises and being persistently late in paying rent. The parties reached an agreement during mediation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement. The Tenant must pay $4,370 in damages to the Landlord by March 31 and May 1, 2022. The Tenant must also pay rent on the 1st of each month going forward and follow rules regarding their dogs.
