What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to meet a condition specified in a previous mediated settlement. The Tenants failed to pay $800 towards arrears by the agreed upon date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 11, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,475 in rent arrears and costs, plus $26.30 per day in compensation starting April 1, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by August 23, 2020, interest will accrue. If the unit is not vacated by August 23, 2020, the Landlord may file the order for enforcement.
