What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants for failure to pay compensation for utilities they owed based on a previous LTB order.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 3, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,536.34, which is the unpaid compensation for utilities less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay the Landlord $45.37 per day for use of the unit starting March 24, 2023 until they move out.
