What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous order. The Tenants failed to pay the required arrears and rent as per the conditions set in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 14, 2022. Tenants must pay $2,018.92 to the Landlord, representing rent owing up to February 3, 2022, less the rent deposit and interest. Tenants must also pay $32.15 per day for use of the unit starting February 4, 2022 until they move out. If Tenants do not vacate by February 14, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement.
