What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord served a Notice of Termination effective October 17, 2021. Tenants did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 19, 2022, unless Tenants void the order by paying $8,786.00 by that date. Tenants must pay $5,399.06 plus $65.75 per day starting February 9, 2022, for rent arrears and compensation. If not paid, Landlord may file for eviction enforcement from February 20, 2022.
