What happened

Tenant applied for an order determining that Landlord has collected or retained money illegally. The Tenant's reasons were that the Landlord had charged illegal rent, but the Tribunal found that the issues raised by the Tenant were more appropriate under a T2 and/or T6 application, and the remedies sought were not available under this application filed pursuant to section 135 of the Residential Tenancies Act.
