What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The previous order required the Tenant to pay rent arrears and the Landlord's application fee, which the Tenant failed to do.

The ruling

The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $4,163.42, which includes the outstanding rent arrears and application fee from the previous order, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $38.96 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting February 2, 2022 until the Tenant vacates.
