What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous LTB order regarding rent arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 11, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $4,700.86, which includes rent arrears up to February 28, 2023 and the cost of filing the application, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant must also pay the Landlord $43.52 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting March 1, 2023 until the Tenant vacates.
