What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's smoking in the rental unit, attempting to gain entry to another unit, and disturbing another tenant with loud noise, all of which substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 31, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date and pay the Landlord $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the amount owed by August 31, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
