What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 3, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,738.21 (less any payments made after the application was filed) and $28.27 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting January 24, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 3, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
