What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order issued by the LTB on June 6, 2023.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 1, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $5,090.59 plus $14.79 per day starting July 22, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 1, 2023, the Tenant will owe interest at 6% annually on the outstanding balance.
