What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was to reduce the clutter in the rental unit to a level 5 on the Clutter Image Rating Scale and pay outstanding rent arrears.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 21, 2023. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. If the unit is not vacated by January 21, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant must pay the remaining $129.60 in rent arrears to the Landlord by January 21, 2023. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by that date, the Tenant will start owing interest at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
