What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant or someone permitted by Tenant wilfully causing undue damage to the rental unit, and because Tenant or someone permitted by Tenant seriously impaired the safety of others in the residential complex.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective September 30, 2021. The Tenant must move out by that date. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $365.00 for the balance of repair costs, $2.79 per day for use of the unit from September 10, 2021 until move-out, and $186.00 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 30, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting October 1, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by September 30, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting October 1, 2021.
