What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Tenant did not meet a condition specified in the order issued by the LTB on October 12, 2022 with respect to application LTB-L-001947-22.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out of the rental unit on or before February 10, 2023. If the unit is not vacated by that date, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186 for the cost of filing the application and $19.73 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting January 31, 2023 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owed by February 10, 2023, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 5.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
