What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Tenant has paid the total rent owed for the period from September 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021, but a balance of the application fee remains unpaid.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $3,644.43 in rent arrears and $171.57 for the balance of the application fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 27, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
